TSB Jewelry

Teresa Schleh Bruff has been creating jewelry since 2005, though she has studied and admired it for all of her life.  A native of New Orleans, she has a background in event planning and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Newcomb College/Tulane University.  Studied metalsmithing under Margo Manning at Delgado Community College. 

She is a current member of SNAG - The Society of North American Goldsmiths, and a member of the Arts Council of New Orleans.

Design ideas come from her studies of the wildlife and ecosystems of the waterways surrounding southern Lousiana and the Caribbean seas.  Inspiration also comes from childhood fairy tales from Roald Dahl, the Brothers Grimm and Sheherazade and visits to the Schatzkammer der Residenz in Munich, Germany - where the most beautiful works of art reside.  These works include the sparkling crown jewels of Queen Theresa (ahh, if they only would let me just try them on for a moment...) and a jewel encrusted statue of St. George slaying the dragon. 

Here motto "Jewelry, as life, should be fun!" embraces her designs.  Her signature piece, the "Schlehtini" Cocktail Ring, is meant to be enjoyed by the woman who wears it and my all those who admire it.

When not creating new pieces, Teresa enjoys social events and relishing time with her family and friends.
